According to The United Nations there are 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) that have been emphasis that has been ear mark as a contributing factor to a Smart City. The more common ones as an area of focus has been the following;
1) Public Security,
2) Pubic Transportation
3) Traffic Management,
4) Waste Management,
5) Alternate Energy,
6) Utility Management
What else apart from the above list would be construed as an important identifier for a smart city. The focus should be citizen centric and should contribute to the improvement of life style for the people staying in the city and your community.
